Dietitian Support
Our Service | Te Ratonga
Our New Zealand registered dietitians and registered nutritionists work alongside you and your whānau to provide practical advice and support for healthy eating, wellbeing, and the management of health conditions. We offer one-to-one appointments and group education sessions to help you make informed choices and take an active role in managing your health. We can also provide nutrition and healthy lifestyle talks for community groups, marae, kaumātua groups, and workplaces.
This free service is available across the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Appointments are available in community settings, at home, or at your workplace, depending on your needs.
Who can access this service?

This service is available for people who:
Have prediabetes or Type 2 diabetes
Have heart health concerns (including high cholesterol, high blood pressure or increased cardiovascular risk)
Would like support with healthy eating and lifestyle
All our dietitians provide:
A holistic approach to nutrition and health for you and your whānau
Education about your condition and dietary management
Support with setting realistic and achievable goals
How do I access this service?

You can be referred by your GP or another health professional, or contact our team directly to find out whether this service is right for you.
